To provide disaster preparedness education and resources to Solano County community members to ensure the best possible outcome for their animals during an emergency.
Proactively creating a Disaster Action Plan (DAP) is a vital step you can take to ensure the best possible outcome for your animals.

In addition to our DAP activities, educating the community about how to prepare their animals for the best possible outcome during a disaster is essential to our mission.
We regularly participate in public or community awareness events, as well as accept invitations to speak at corporate and private gatherings to provide education.
When disaster strikes our team of trained, sworn disaster services volunteers can be activated to provide support.
Solano CART does not provide shelter services, however, we do maintain a list of community volunteers who may be willing to provide temporary livestock housing during an emergency.
Solano CART is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works in cooperation with local governmental and non-governmental agencies to ensure the best possible outcome for animals in Solano and neighboring counties who need assistance during an emergency.
